I've just downloaded and installed ShoZu (www.shozu.com) on my Nokia E71. It's a program that bundles most of the popular web 2.0 applications into one moblogging tool. Now i can update my blog, send a tweet about it and upload a video to YouTube all from the same app!
Of course I'll test it extensively. Again, makes you wonder whether moblogging really has taken a step forward in ease of use - see thee conclusions and discussions part of the dissertation.

Wavelog - an S60 client for blogger
This message has been posted from my Nokia E71 using Wavelogger, an s60 blogging client. Unfortunately it is not freeware - but if it works i might just purchase it. The interface is a bit tricky, but it works and that's what counts!
The pros and cons:
+ you can create, edit and save messages whilst offline and upload them later.
+ support for tags
+ support for editing messages that have already been posted.
- not freeware (and relatively expensive)
- not the most intuitive user interface i've seen

posted using the SkyFire browser for S60
...and this has been posted from my E71 using the SkyFire browser, an advanced browser for smartphones. So far it has excellent support for my favorite websites, and it even plays flas video on the webpage itself, i.e. It does not load the video in an external player like RealPlayer.
Have I just found the ideal solution for my moblogging needs? The pros and cons of using SkyFire as a moblogging tool:
+ Exactly the same interface as using Blogger on your desktop PC (BIG pro!)
+ Freeware
- Must be online to use it (no offline messages)
- Takes a few clicks to get to the screen where you can edit your blogpost
In the coming days I will compare WaveLog and Skyfire as moblogging solutions. Will keep you posted!

How to post to Blogger with your cellphone
Ryan Dube at howtomakeuseof.com has written anarticle on how to set-up mobile blogging with your cellphone (see below). The downside of the method described here is that there is no way to tag your blogposts, other than logging in to your blog afterwards. Tagging is an essential way to organize my blog, so the search for the ideal blogger client for symbian continues!

Now you can moblog with Blogger.
One of the relatively newest mobile Internet advances is a phenomenon known as “Moblogging,” or mobile blogging. The way this works depends on which blogging platform that you use, but generally it involves sending a text message or an email to a particular address, and that message is automatically routed to your blog as an instant update. Why would anyone want to blog from their cellphone? If you consider the possibilities, it’s pretty obvious how this can come in handy.
Post updates to a blog while you’re hiking the Appalachian trail.
Update your family with mobile snapshots of you and your friends at Spring Break (or maybe not…)
Investigative journalists can instantly publish breaking news to a news blog before anyone else.
Publish a snapshot of that UFO to your blog before the FBI can confiscate your phone.
The possibilities are limited only by your own imagination.
